As more technologies are consumed as services, companies that offer technologies as a managed service to their end-customers are becoming more popular as channel partners. For years we've seen MSPs -- companies that remotely manages a customer's IT infrastructure -- as channel partners. Now, as those MSPs are bundling the technologies into their own branded offering (instead of putting forth the vendor brand to the end customer) we are hearing many vendors begin to consider these companies as customers instead of channel partners.
