Happy New Year! This week hosts [Charlene O'Hanlon](https://www.linkedin.com/in/charleneohanlon), channel industry editor & writer, and [Diane Krakora](https://www.partner-path.com/about/team/diane/), CEO of PartnerPath, discuss some of the open-ended responses from our 2017 State of Partnering study on the top channel mistakes. What are some partner complaints about vendor channel programs and why are they so similar year to year?

It's surprising just how many partners took the opportunity to vent some of their frustrations with their channel programs. The answers have similar themes to previous years and yet some are wholly unique. Diane and Charlene discuss some of the more memorable feedback and come up with a New Year's resolution for the channel.

**Diane had some connectivity issues that occasionally delay the video feedback but, with a little editing, we thought the video was still worth sharing.*
