This week, hosts [Charlene O'Hanlon](https://www.linkedin.com/in/charleneohanlon), channel industry editor & writer, and [Diane Krakora](https://www.partner-path.com/about/team/diane/), CEO of PartnerPath, take a moment to reflect on the biggest current event this week, the US Presidential election.

We normally avoid topics like politics, but this election has stirred opinions across the world and will surely affect the technology industry in one way or another. Charlene and Diane chat about how the pollsters were wrong, how technology could play a part in future elections, and a bit about how the new president could affect the business and culture of Silicon Valley. With an open mind going forward, how long before we should expect to see changes? Take a listen and share your thoughts.

**How do you think the results of the election will affect the tech industry?**
