Is it still needed? image: http://www.partner-path.com/hubfs/blog-files/2016_-_new_site/TCVC-8-12-16.png --- [![PartnerPath-logo-white.png](https://www.partner-path.com/hs-fs/hubfs/PartnerPath-logo-white.png?width=318&height=90&name=PartnerPath-logo-white.png "PartnerPath-logo-white.png")](https://www.partner-path.com/) [![Talk to Us](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/361854/f5a1fedf-6e75-4dfe-8fe9-d16ec439ea67.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/361854/f5a1fedf-6e75-4dfe-8fe9-d16ec439ea67) # Tech Channel Video Cast: Women in Channel ### 08.12.16 ### Share: ![TechChannelVideoCast.png](https://www.partner-path.com/hs-fs/hubfs/social-suggested-images/TechChannelVideoCast.png?width=141&height=104&name=TechChannelVideoCast.png "TechChannelVideoCast.png")This week, hosts [Charlene O'Hanlon](https://www.linkedin.com/in/charleneohanlon), channel industry editor & writer, and [Diane Krakora](https://www.partner-path.com/about/team/diane/), CEO of PartnerPath, chat about the [2016 CRN Women in Channel list](http://www.crn.com/rankings-and-lists/wotc2016.htm). What's the relevance of this list and what does it indicate for the channel? Charlene and Diane debate whether it's still worth creating this separate list of women in the channel. At what point will there be parity and no need for a list? Plus, how are solution providers faring in the increase of women in the channel? Are they keeping up with vendor changes? Diane goes on to mention some of the Channel Chiefs and how they're making great changes in their organizations. And do you know which company has the most women in this list? You might be surprised. **Do you think there is still a need for this list? How would you like to see women recognized for their influence in the channel?
