This question sometimes comes up when some customers begin setup of their PRM system. We ask questions about how their program runs so we can set up modules to follow their program and workflows. If we ask, "how many program tiers do you have?" and they say, "Yes," it's time for a conversation about the difference between a program and a portal. Listen to Diane and Charlene chat about when this communication begins and how directions and management play a key role in getting a partner program set up.   | [![Charlene-O'Hanlon-headshot](https://www.partner-path.com/hs-fs/file-4070984746-jpg/blog-files/charlene-ohanlon-120.jpg "Charlene-O'Hanlon-headshot")](https://www.linkedin.com/in/charleneohanlon) | [![Diane Krakora headshot](https://www.partner-path.com/hs-fs/file-4070984966-jpg/blog-files/diane-krakora.jpg?width=120&name=diane-krakora.jpg "Diane Krakora headshot")](https://www.partner-path.com/about/team/diane/) | | --- | --- | | **Charlene O'Hanlon, ***Editor & Writer* | **Diane Krakora, ***CEO* at **PartnerPath** | Topics: [videocast](https://www.partner-path.com/blog/topic/videocast), [PRM](https://www.partner-path.com/blog/topic/prm) ### Share: [![Partner Advisory Councils Answer these 10 questions to design a more effective Partner Advisory Council.
